Sylvan is a plant lover and science enthusiast. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in biology from University of Science and Technology of China. Now as a MSc student in Wageningen University, he wants to study more about plants and especially their cute organelles. In September 2025, he started his master’s thesis in the Laboratory of Plant Physiology, studying how plastids regulate plant breathing.
