Priscilla obtained her Master's degree from Wageningen University, focusing on plant breeding and genetics. For her MSc thesis, she studied cytoplasmic male sterility in potato by functionally characterizing candidate fertility-restorer genes. In October 2026, she started her PhD, where she investigates the genetic and molecular factors underlying plastid and mitochondrial inheritance in Arabidopsis thaliana.
